BIO

Angela Parchetta is a pop singer songwriter and licensed music educator in  Nashville, TN. She began singing at 4 years old when her mother enrolled her in voice lessons.  Finding it difficult to put her thoughts into words, she found refuge at a young age in songwriting. “It was the only time I was able to clearly communicate what I was thinking.” Determined to accompany herself, she bought her first guitar at 15 and taught herself how to play. She began playing out at open mics in her small hometown. She  continued to write through college (Duquesne University) where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Music Education.

In 2018 she began releasing her own music while teaching middle school chorus full time. Drawing inspiration from pop powerhouses like Taylor Swift, Bleachers and Halsey, her songs are anthems for life, love and finding the strength to move on and thrive. Her intricate melodies and frank lyrics have caught the attention of listeners and industry professionals alike. Her single “Tell Me” was recognized as a semi-finalist in the 2020 International Songwriting Competition and 2020 Music City SongStar Competition.

When she’s not writing, Angela enjoys drinking coffee, teaching voice lessons, cheering on the Fighting Irish and walking with her dog Mia.
